I’m happy to say that I survived my first week of school! I admit it… I was totally stressed out. It’s been almost a decade since I’ve gone to school, and I wasn’t sure how well I would do taking classes online. All I can really say at this point is… so far, so good! I like the way the assignments are given, and the way I have to interact with my classmates. Hopefully GEN200 will provide me with the tools necessary to succeed as a student of the new millennium. I’m really excited about my future.
In other news, I turned 34 years old yesterday. The significance of that is that my gift to myself this year was to quit smoking the day after my birthday. That is today… and I have four cigarettes in my pack. Once those four cigarettes have been smoked… I am quitting cold turkey. Stupid? Maybe! Necessary? Heck yeah! I might as well live to graduate college since I’ve waited this long.
