The first week of school went great. I got all of my reading and assignments done on time. I thought it would be harder to get used to going to classes online… but it was a lot easier than I thought. I do miss having an actual text book since I enjoy highlighting. I thought about printing out the chapters, but that could start to cost heavily in ink. I’m not exactly sure how I’m going to approach that yet, but once I figure out my learning style and how best to study etc… it will become much more clear.
This week we were broken up into groups so that we can work as a teams on group assignments. This should be interesting. I’m really looking forward to getting out of the general classes and start working on my core. I’m also still waiting for SCCC to send UoP my transcripts. HVCC sent them rather quickly, so I don’t know what the heck is up with SCCC. Hopefully that will be done soon that my schedule can be set in stone and my graduation date set!
I’ve been considering selling off my domain name portfolio to help with school expenses. I haven’t quite decided how to go about doing that, but one idea I had was just selling the entire lot except for the domain names I have already developed. I’m going to work on putting a sale together this week, and then I’m going to market the heck out of it. It would be a relief to not have mass renewals every few months. Anything I can do to reduce stress right now is a plus. My main focus, and my top priority is my education right now. I’ve put it off for far too long already. Let’s just get it done. Onward.
