History, psychology, sociology, information technology, mythology, and religion are needed to explain Trumpanity
In my daily life, I have come to avoid both the topics of religion and politics. Nothing good ever comes from discussing these topics, and over the last few years, I have carefully tip-toes over the eggshells left in the wake of the trump administration (that is not a typo); fearful that I might piss off the wrong person or cause another problem that results in losing another friend or family member.
After reading this article… the only thing I have to say to say is… Who cares! I am done pretending. This article is an incredible dose of reality and is perfectly written. It says a lot of things that I have thought about but didn’t quite know how to put into words.
Trump’s attempts to discredit any and every other source have the goal of setting him up as the only place his cult goes to learn about the world. It doesn’t matter if what he says is true, or even if it is consistent with the direct experience of his followers. All that matters is that he said it.
Do yourself a favor and check it out! It’s worth it. Unless you are one of the sheep. Then, I have nothing for you.
