Forget “Columbus” Let’s celebrate TRUTH! – Indigenous Peoples’ Day 

 

If it wasn’t for my daughter’s second grade teacher, I would not have known about Indigenous People’s Day!

A much better reason to celebrate than Columbus Day. It is very hard to accept but we have to remember that the land we love was stolen from its native people who were forced to live on reservations. Sure, it opened up doors for trade… yada yada… bullies always take what they want without regard for anyone else. If this offends you. It should. The truth is never pretty.
